Briefly tour information
We will start our tour from exploring Tashkent and visiting its main tourist attractions. In the evening, we will transfer you to the airport to fly to our next destination – Khiva city. Khiva is one of the most beautiful cities of Great Silk Road and was almost saved in its original beauty. Then our trip will continue in Bukhara city. Beautiful Kalyan minaret was saved from total destruction by Gengiz-Khan in 1220. At those times city was mostly ruined. Our next destination will be Samarkand. City survived after conquering by Islam, wasted by Mongolian Horde but was reborned, and achieved its blossom peak under Tamerlane’s ruling.
Main tour highlights
Tashkent – interesting walk at one of the oldest and hilarious bazaars - Chorsu. You will see daily life of city and talk with local people.
Khiva – visiting the most romantic city on the Silk Road, and, probably, the best saved historical city, which is under UNESCO protection.
Bukhara – you will enjoy city walks, delight gorgeous Islamic architecture, authentic and active bazaars, drink tea near the beautiful Lyabi House pool.
Samarkand - you will open a new cultural pearl of Silk Road and visit 3 impressing reconstructed medrese, which are standing on three sides of Registan square .
Kyzylkum desert – trip to the famous Middle Asia desert (7-8 hours) and stop on the Amudarya branch.
Metros paper factory – visiting Kongil village to see manufacturing process of famous Samarkand's paper made by ancient technology.
Chor-su bazaar – explore the oldest oriental bazaar of Tashkent. You can buy there souvenirs and to see the process of baking delicious Uzbek bread and try local dishes.
